Yesterday was great! I didn't get out of bed until 8:30! I took my sweet time getting ready for Andrew's last day of swim lessons. Somehow I was able to make it to the YMCA 45 minutes early and had a chance to work out before taking Andrew to his swim lessons. While he was in swim lessons, I ran on the treadmill. Fun stuff (that's the not so lazy part of my day).
Then I had a nice lunch at Kayla's. I had great timing, too. Lunch was just coming out of the oven and the kids were just about to be laying down for a nap. I've been trying to get Andrew off of his nap schedule so I expected to be bugged by him while Kayla and I tried to talk, but he ended up falling asleep on the couch! Wow!
I had to leave to be at the dentist by 3:00 for a couple sealants. I didn't know it would only take 5 minutes to seal two teeth! Even better! So, we were in and out of there in a jiffy.
Then we headed to Fry's for some items for a salad I am making for a Diaper Party on Saturday. We were home before 4:00. I sat down and watched Dances with Wolves which turned out to be a sad movie. It was nice until he goes back for his journal. His horse and poor Two Socks and poor Indians. Ah! I determined I didn't want to see that movie ever again.
Then I made some Ramen noodles for dinner since it was just Andrew and I. We ate, I cleaned up, and made most of my salad for Saturday, and had Andrew in the shower before 7:30. He was in bed by 8:00 and I was in bed by 9:00! I must sound shocked, but this NEVER happens when I try for it. It must've been my lack of computer... Hee hee.
I enjoyed yesterday very much! I have a few things on the to-do list this weekend, so it may not be so restful as yesterday was. I've determined that to have a restful day, it must be on a weekday. The weekends are entirely too busy as of late.
Things I am looking forward to this weekend:
*Battlefield of the Mind study group tonight at Barro's Pizza
*Diaper Shower on Saturday (looking forward to the food anyway. I'll explain more later)
*Birthday party at Peter Piper Pizza on Saturday
*Church Service in the new building on Sunday
