Hello! I had a very boring day today. I did laundry and waited for a guy from my house's builder to come make repairs (since my year warranty is up next month I had to scramble to get ahold of these people). I've been online quite a bit today. I came across an article about Paris Hilton claiming she is an icon of our time. Here's her quote, "I think every decade has an iconic blonde -- like Marilyn Monroe or Princess Diana -- and right now, I'm that icon." Yikes! And here I was thinking it was Anna Nicole Smith or Britney Spears...
Anyway, I found it amusing since she goes on to explain that she is unlike any other heiress in that, "I have so many projects -- bags, fragrances, makeup. I go round the world every three days, designing and personally approving it all. I've got movies to make, a tour, TV shows. Every day of my life is scheduled until the end of 2007." Wow, she is making such a difference in the world! I didn't have any idea!
And if fate shall deal her the death at age 36 that it did Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana, she says, "At least I'll always be remembered." Hmmm, really?
Congratulations, Paris. I've just removed your song from my myspace page!! Why did I even have it in the first place?
